Standard AS9100 for the Defense, Aviation and Space Industry – Revision D

The AS9100 Standard sets rules for the management of quality, safety and cost reduction for the space and aviation industry, and is a prerequisite for obtaining regulatory approvals for production processes and marketing in many countries worldwide. In addition, the standard constitutes an international quality stamp among numerous business organizations who make sure to work only with companies who hold a valid standard.

The AS9100 Standard was prepared and published by the Society of Aerospace Engineers (SAE) and outlines the rules for quality management throughout the supply chain in these industries.

5. Critical parameters. Definition of the project's key points by the customer or as internal requirements of the organization, maintaining an ongoing control throughout the production and supply process.
